In honor of Veterans Day, and to thank veterans, active-duty military and reservists for their service, Red Lobster® is offering guests a free Walt's Favorite Shrimp, Fries, and Coleslaw, featuring six hand-breaded, butterflied and lightly fried shrimp, served with cocktail sauce, as well as crispy French Fries and Coleslaw. The offer is available for dine-in and To Go orders placed in-restaurant* between 11:00am and 4:00pm local time on Friday, November 11, 2022. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® Kicks Off Military Family Appreciation Month by Honoring Those Who Have Served

During military family appreciation month, Cracker Barrel will offer in-store specials on Veterans Day for Veterans and promotions throughout November to support military families in partnership with Operation Homefront. On Veterans Day, Veterans can receive a free slice of double fudge Coca-Cola cake with their meal.

Smokey Bones, the Masters of Meat, are saluting the military this Veterans Day with a free meal. On Friday, November 11, 2022, all 62 Smokey Bones locations will be serving up free select entrées for active military and veterans. Military may enjoy their choice of the Meatloaf, 8-piece Boneless Wings, or Pulled Pork Sammy entrée. This offer is good for dine-in only and with valid military ID. “We would like to express our gratitude to individuals who have served our country, and are honored to dish up these fan favorites on Veterans Day,” said Cole Robillard, Chief Marketing Officer for Smokey Bones. “Our entire system is supporting this initiative, so active or retired military may visit any of our locations to enjoy this special offer.” On Veterans Day, military may select one of these three entrées without any substitutions: Meatloaf entrée with fries, baked beans, roasted corn or coleslaw or 8-piece boneless wings with fries, baked beans, roasted corn or coleslaw or Pulled pork sandwich with fries, baked beans, roasted corn coleslaw.The free meal offer is valid only on November 11. Golden Corral® is proud of the U.S. military members who defend our country and our rights. We honor them every year with a special thank you dinner on our Military Appreciation Night. To date, we have served over 6 million free meals to our active duty and retired military heroes. But our commitment does not stop there. Over the past 20 years, Golden Corral restaurants and their guests together have raised over $17.5 million dollars for Disabled American Veterans.

Q: What is the date for 2023?
A: Military Appreciation Night will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5pm – close.

Q: Who is eligible for the free “thank you” dinner?
A: Any person who has served in the U.S. Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves).

Q: Why does Golden Corral provide this dinner?
A: We appreciate the men and women who are serving and who have served, and we are honored to offer this special event to thank them in person.

Q: Can I bring my family?
A: We know that spouses, children, mothers, and fathers deserve a heart-felt thank you, too, for their own personal sacrifices here at home. Family and friends are welcome to come join the celebration for our military heroes; however, the free ‘thank you’ dinner is for the person who served. Other guests will pay the regular dinner menu pricing.

Q: Can I have a rain check for another night?
A: There are no rain checks for Military Appreciation Night. We hope you can arrange your schedule to join us.

Q: Can I have my free “thank you” meal as a takeout meal?
A: There are no take-out meals associated with this dinner as most veterans feel that this is a great opportunity to renew old friendships, make new friends, and simply enjoy the evening as Golden Corral’s special guest.
